For those wanting to learn to surf or improve their skills, this experience offers personalized attention and a safe, fun environment at Clarkes Beach. It's one of only four surf schools permitted to conduct group lessons directly in Byron Bay's waves.
Gaz, the operator, has been surfing in Byron Bay since the 1970s and teaching surfing since the 1980s. He provides surfboards, wetsuits (if needed), rash shirts, sunscreen, and wax. The lesson includes surf instruction, safety guidelines, surfing rules, and ocean awareness. Participants receive continuous tips and surf stories while catching waves.
Style Surfing Byron Bay provides all the necessary equipment and free photos of the participants on the beach, creating lasting memories of their surfing experience. All that's needed is swimmers, a towel, and a water bottle. This experience promises happy days surfing with Gaz.
