This easy 3-hour stroll takes travelers off the beaten path and into the secret spaces of Monkey Mountain, known only to the Red-Shanked Douc Langurs. The guide knows the trails, potential spots, and behaviors of the animals. Guests may see sprightly offspring during breeding season (March to July), adult monkeys, or even the alpha male. They'll learn how to distinguish males from females and estimate their age, while helping collect data about the monkeys encountered. Along the way, they might spot birds, colorful butterflies, plants, and sometimes mongoose.
The journey also provides an opportunity to see amazing hidden sceneries of Monkey Mountain and secret beaches. The tour concludes back at the starting point.
