Sick New World Texas 2026: System of a Down
Overview
Sick New World Texas arrives at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth on October 24, 2026, bringing one of the most anticipated metal and alternative music festivals to the Lone Star State. Headlined by System of a Down, the inaugural Texas expansion features a powerhouse lineup including Slayer performing a full-album celebration of their landmark 1990 release Reign In Blood, alongside Deftones, The Prodigy, Evanescence, Marilyn Manson, Knocked Loose, Ministry, AFI, Clutch, Melvins, Underoath, P.O.D., Scowl, Coal Chamber, Terror, Superheaven, and more across multiple stages throughout the day.
System of a Down's return to festival headlining marks a significant moment for the Armenian-American metal legends, known for their politically charged lyrics and genre-defying sound that blends metal, punk, and world music influences. The festival itself represents the expansion of Sick New World's ambitions beyond its flagship Las Vegas event, bringing world-class production and curated programming to North Texas. Texas Motor Speedway, one of the region's premier outdoor venues, provides an expansive setting for this multi-stage festival experience.
