Swim with Dolphins & Seals: 3-Hour Adventure!
180
Overview
3 hour Dolphin and Seal Swim (NOV-APR) offers a special chance to see wild animals up close. This adventure, run by Moonraker Dolphin Swims, lets people swim with playful Bottlenose Dolphins and friendly Australian Fur Seals.
The tour starts at Sorrento Pier, where guests get their gear and hop on the comfortable ‘Moonraker’ boat. Guides explain everything about the trip and how to stay safe while snorkeling. The boat first stops at shallow waters where seals love to play. People can see seals of all sizes and even swim near them!
After the seals, everyone enjoys lunch to get ready for the next swim. Then, the boat looks for dolphins. When dolphins are found, small groups of ten slide into the water. They float and wait for the dolphins to come closer. The dolphins might swim around or just glide by for a quick look. Moonraker wants to make sure the dolphins are happy and safe, so they don't stay too long. These tours have won awards for being good for the environment. Moonraker Dolphin Swims has won Australia’s Best Eco-Tourism Attraction twice.
