Experience the Aberfeldy Distillery, nestled just a short distance from founder John Dewar's birthplace, and the only distillery ever constructed by the Dewar family. Visitors will embark on a guided distillery tour, gaining access to the atmospheric warehouse where they'll learn about the 'angels' share' and the unique double-aging process that gives Aberfeldy whisky its rich, smooth flavor. The self-guided heritage center provides a unique look into the lives and legacies of John Dewar and his sons, Tommy and John Alexander.
To cap off the tour, guests will enjoy a comparative tasting session in one of the distillery's tasting rooms, sampling both Dewar's Blended Scotch and Aberfeldy Single Malt. Please note that only those over 18 years of age can enjoy a dram. Enjoy free wifi and the whisky lounge with comfy sofas and a warming fire. Parking fees are included in this experience.
