Visitors can board a make-believe ship and travel back to the port of Roman Chester. Inside the fortress, each person can find out their Roman job and get paid, starting their life as a Roman! Walk through the streets to learn about Roman houses, soldiers, staying clean, and food with hands-on displays.
Guests can sit in the Amphitheatre and hear about the famous gladiators who fought there. They can also learn about Chester's past through a light show and see real digging spots that show the history under their feet. This experience includes admission to the DEVA Roman Experience.
