What to expect: See the grand Golden Staircase and amazing art inside the Doge's Palace. Walk across the Bridge of Sighs to the old prisons where Casanova was once held, just like Alcatraz. Visit St. Mark's Basilica, also called the Golden Basilica, and be amazed by its shiny mosaics, as beautiful as any big church in Europe. Then, put on a VR headset at the Gondola Yard of Venice Gallery and see Piazza San Marco as it looked long ago. Imagine the Basilica as the Doge's own church and the Palace as a strong fort.
This tour includes skip-the-line tickets to the Doge's Palace, Archeological Museum, and Royal Palace - Correr Museum, plus entrance to the Bridge of Sighs and a VR experience. If selected, the St. Mark's Cathedral Terrace Entrance Ticket is also included. If visitors choose the Bell Tower option, they can skip the line to visit the Marciana Library (Closed on Sundays) and visit the Bell Tower (the Basilica visit will be guided from the OUTSIDE ONLY). Lunch is provided with that option. What's not included: hotel pickup/drop-off, food/drinks, and guided tours of the Royal Palace - Correr Museum, Marciana Library, and Archeological Museum.
