Review Summary
People usually say that the Pont du Gard is a must-see for history enthusiasts and photography lovers, with visitors consistently praising the impressive Roman engineering and breathtaking landscape views. The combination of Avignon's cultural landmarks (particularly the Pope's Palace) with the stunning Pont du Gard aqueduct makes this tour excellent for experiencing both medieval and Roman heritage in Provence. However, some travelers note that guide quality can vary, and the tour feels rushed at times—particularly when covering multiple sites in a single day—so choosing a private tour with a knowledgeable guide is recommended for a more meaningful experience.
