This style is called "Trencadis." During the 4-hour class, a local guide teaches you how to break and place colorful ceramic tiles to create your own mosaic. This workshop is a hands-on way to experience Barcelona's art scene. You get to make a unique souvenir to take home. All the tools and materials are provided, including bottled water to keep you hydrated. The workshop is perfect for small groups and even weddings or celebrations. MOSAICCOS has received awards, including a diploma from the President of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the BIOSPHERE certification for sustainability. Please note that after the workshop, MOSAICCOS needs time to finish your artwork with grouting. You can usually pick up your finished mosaic the next day, depending on the time of your class.
