Visitors will learn about Dr. Mooney and his wife, Sarah, who ran a surgery and helped the community during the Great Hunger by starting a soup kitchen. The center uses panels and videos to show their hard work. Bog oak sculptures created by Kieran Tuohy add to the experience.
