Buachaille Etive Mòr, also known as "The Great Herdsman of Etive," stands tall at 1,021 meters (3,351 feet), offering breathtaking panoramic views of Rannoch Moor.
The adventure begins near a white cottage where the climb starts up "The Buckle". The first part is a tough walk uphill into the valley. After reaching the bealach (saddle), there's a good chance to rest. A rocky climb leads to the top of Buachaille Etive Mòr, at 1,021 meters high. Once there, hikers can enjoy amazing views of Rannoch Moor and receive a special Buachaille Etive Mòr summit patch. Depending on the weather, it's a great spot to eat lunch before heading back down the same path to the car park. As a celebration, the group might visit a local pub in the glen.
