120
Overview
Guided Snorkel Experience in Fort Lauderdale offers a chance to explore a vibrant coral reef just a short swim from the shore. Since 2014, Mike, a certified and insured Divemaster, has led over 800 trips to this special spot in Lauderdale by the Sea. He knows this reef better than anyone!
This isn't your typical long boat trip! The reef is close to the beach, making it easy to get there. You'll see hard and soft corals, colorful sponges, and lots of cool sea creatures. Keep an eye out for angelfish, parrotfish, and maybe even rays, sea turtles, or harmless nurse sharks. Plus, you'll have a great view of the town and Anglin's Pier from the water. Mike will guide the tour and point out the marine life, and optional pictures are available above and below the water.
The tour starts with getting your gear and instructions for beginners and a trip briefing. Then it's a quick walk to the beach, where everyone can practice in shallow water. After that, it's a short swim to the reef, teeming with life. This is a small group experience, with usually 4-6 people, and a maximum of 8. Mike is ready to show you the best spots!
