Half Day Scuba Diving Trip in the Florida Keys offers certified divers a chance to explore the underwater wonders of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary and John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. This adventure takes place aboard a 45' Corinthian catamaran, specially designed for diving excursions.
Participants will visit two distinct dive sites along the third-largest barrier reef system in the world, which is also the ONLY living coral reef in the United States! Divers can witness diverse marine life, including turtles, spotted eagle rays, and moray eels. The captain selects the dive sites based on the day's sea conditions, ensuring the best possible diving experience. Popular sites include Molasses, Elbow, French Reef, and the iconic Christ of the Abyss on Dry Rocks.
This half-day trip provides tanks and weights. Please note that SCUBA equipment is not included, but it can be rented for an additional fee. Divers must be SCUBA certified and may be required to hire a guide or take a refresher course depending on their recent dive experience.
