The bus leaves from the waterfront in Hobart every day. For those who want to explore more, there's a hop-on, hop-off option. With this, people can get off at 5 stops in Wellington Park. These stops have walking tracks for exploring the mountain. Everyone can see kunanyi / Mount Wellington at their own speed and catch another bus back to Hobart later. Key stops include Fern Tree Park, The Springs, The Organ Pipes, and the kunanyi/Mt Wellington Summit.
The kunanyi/Mt Wellington Explorer Bus is special. It's the only tour that can go to kunanyi / Mount Wellington when Pinnacle Road is closed because of snow.
