Islander Harris Tweed Handbag Workshop in Stornoway lets visitors make their own Harris Tweed® handbag in a fun, hands-on class. This 60-minute workshop is perfect for anyone who wants to learn a new craft and take home a special souvenir.
During the workshop, participants will get to pick the color of their bag, choose a Harris Tweed® lid, and add straps to make it their own. Skilled teachers will show everyone how to put the bag together using special tools. People of all skill levels are welcome. This is a great way to learn about Harris Tweed® and make something unique.
The workshop provides all the tools and materials needed to complete the Islander Mini Satchel Handbag. Please note that upgrades to other bag types are not included. The workshop is on the first floor, accessible only by stairs. Participants are advised to arrive 5 minutes early. This workshop allows participants to create one bag, and those seeking to create more than one bag are encouraged to book separate time slots.
