Review Summary
Customers generally say this is an excellent introductory kayaking experience perfect for families and first-time paddlers, with enthusiastic praise for Guide Gary's personalized attention and willingness to customize the tour based on participant interests—whether kayaking, snorkeling, or wildlife spotting. Visitors frequently highlight memorable encounters with sea lions and unexpected wildlife discoveries like octopuses, though some note that sea lion sightings cannot be guaranteed since they are wild animals. Common recommendations include bringing waterproof cameras, avoiding feeding or petting wildlife, and considering Vicks VapoRub due to the sea lions' strong fish smell. The tour's accessibility features and family-friendly nature, including options to carry young children or accommodate elderly guests, are consistently praised as major strengths.
