Kids Only Surf Lessons at The Spit, Main Beach, offer a super fun and safe way for kids (ages 6-13) to learn how to surf! These lessons take place at The Spit, a beautiful beach with amazing views of the Surfers Paradise skyline. It's the perfect spot to catch some waves and make lasting memories.
Kids will learn from experienced and friendly surf coaches who will give them lots of attention. The lessons are held in shallow water with a small group size (max of 4 kids per instructor) to make sure everyone is safe and having a blast. All the equipment needed for the lesson is provided, so parents don't have to worry about a thing! After the lesson, kids can laugh and see pictures of themselves riding the waves.
To start the fun, meet at The Surf Shack, behind the Seaway Cafe at The Spit. When you arrive, there will be time to check in and get your equipment before heading to the beach as a group to start the lesson. The instructors will explain the safety rules and show some surfing tips before you hit the water for some real thrills. This class is for children aged 6-12 years old and adults are welcome to accompany their children.
