Review Summary
People find this experience to be a classic and relaxing Newport activity that offers beautiful views of the bay and iconic landmarks like the Newport Bridge, Fort Adams, and historic mansions from the water. Positive feedback highlights the attentive crew, the opportunity to see sails being raised, and the enjoyable atmosphere for families and groups. However, some travelers note that under light wind conditions, the boat may rely on motor power despite sails being raised, and timing inconsistencies or weather-related early returns have occasionally affected the experience. Visitors appreciate the affordable pricing and manageable 1.5-hour duration, though they recommend arriving well in advance due to difficult parking in Newport and the strict no-refund policy for late arrivals.
