Murder Mystery Detective Experience in Myrtle Beach, SC: Become a detective for a day and solve a thrilling murder case right on the streets of Myrtle Beach! Commander Mahoney needs the public's help to solve this gripping mystery.
This audio adventure guides users to 10 different locations, where they'll gather clues and piece together the evidence. Choose a walking route through downtown or a driving route on the outskirts of the city. At each stop, users will listen to the audio story and use their detective skills to uncover the truth. Finally, make deductions and issue an arrest warrant.
This experience is available anytime after booking. It usually takes about 2.5 hours, but people can take breaks whenever they want. There are 16 different characters voiced by actors. The experience includes a walking map or a driving map. Users can play on Normal Mode or Hard Mode. People can work together or compete using the scoring system.

The city outskirts of Myrtle Beach are part of the alternate Driving Map version of the Murder Mystery Detective Experience. Instead of walking, participants drive to the 10 mapped locations, and listen to the story through the car's sound system.

These locations are central to the murder mystery experience, with each one providing essential clues, audio narratives, and immersive storytelling, that guide participants through the investigation, and assist in the challenge of solving the case and issuing an arrest warrant.
Know Before You Go
This experience includes customer service help, a walking game map via mobile app for the downtown area, a driving game map via mobile app for the outskirts, a live GPS map with turn-by-turn directions, and a built-in scoring system. It does not include headphones or earbuds, a charged smartphone, or transportation to and from the locations. Hearing the audio clearly is key to the experience. We recommend a max of 2 people per device & encourage using earbuds for the best experience. This experience is not suitable for all ages as it contains adult material such as profanity and references to mature content.
