The Journey
Buxtehude

Wander through its historic old town to find the charming Hanseatic port, where the restored sailing ship Margareta stands as a welcoming symbol. Immerse yourself in history as you explore the old mill, the ancient town hall, Stavenort, and the imposing Marschtorzwinger, a striking remnant of the old city wall. Buxtehude invites you to step back in time and experience the tranquility of a bygone era.
Jork, Altes Land
Experience the beauty of Jork, the 'heart of Altes Land,' nestled on the banks of the Elbe. This region is Germany's largest contiguous fruit-growing area, a stunning cultural landscape that bursts with life throughout the year. In spring, witness the breathtaking spectacle of blossoming fruit trees; summer brings a bounty of cherries, followed by the rich harvest of plums, pears, and apples in autumn. Jork offers a delightful escape into nature and a taste of the region's agricultural heritage.
Stade
Step into Stade, a city that has been a vibrant center for over 1,000 years, characterized by its red-brick old town and historic Hanseatic port. Relax in one of the cozy cafes and restaurants lining the fish market, offering picturesque views of the old harbor. Delve into the region's maritime history at the Schwedenspeicher Museum, an interactive journey through the Hanseatic League's legacy. Wander through Stade's pedestrian zone, captivated by cobblestone streets and charming half-timbered houses. Marvel at the baroque hall church of St. Cosmae, home to the renowned Arp Schnitger organ, and the Gothic-style hall church of St. Wilhadi, completing Stade's captivating cityscape.
