Customers generally say the tour delivers an exceptional full-day experience with knowledgeable and friendly guides like Paul who expertly navigate the Royal National Park's natural beauty and make the experience highly personalized. Travelers consistently praise the spectacular scenery, particularly the hike to Wedding Cake Rock with its stunning white sandstone formations and coastal views, along with opportunities to spot native wildlife such as echidnas and the chance to interact with kangaroos at Symbio Wildlife Park. The main highlight is the guide's ability to customize the experience to match fitness levels and interests, combine excellent hospitality with insightful commentary, and capture memorable moments through photography services. Minor considerations include the moderate physical fitness requirement needed for walks and the fact that the tour is not wheelchair accessible, though these don't diminish the overall enthusiastic endorsement from travelers who describe the experience as amazing, beautiful, and truly memorable.

(45 reviews)
Duration: 210
minutes
Walking with Wild Kangaroos Private Half-Day Trip from Sydney offers a unique chance to see kangaroos in their natural habitat, not in a zoo. This tour takes visitors to areas outside of Sydney, like the Blue Mountains, where wild kangaroos roam free.
Friendly and knowledgeable guides, often called 'kangaroo whisperers,' lead the way to spots where kangaroos are often seen playing, eating, and sleeping. On some days, over 100 kangaroos can be spotted. These are wild animals, so their behavior depends on the day and how they are approached. Visitors might see them lying down, grazing, or bounding around.
The tour includes travel to and from Sydney accommodation and the kangaroo habitat, possibly in Outer Sydney or the Blue Mountains, with a stop at the Parramatta River. It also covers National Park fees, a driver/guide, and an air-conditioned vehicle for comfort. This trip gives people a chance to see real kangaroos in the wild.
