Silver Springs - Glass Bottom Kayak Rental offers experienced paddlers a unique adventure on the Silver River. This self-guided 2-hour tour lets explorers discover Florida's clearest waters at their own pace. Paddlers launch from Silver Springs State Park and follow the Ft. King paddle loop, venturing into the Silver River, where dozens of springs await.
The adventure involves sharing the waterways with Florida's diverse wildlife. Alligators, turtles, manatees, monkeys, otters, and various fish and bird species call this river home. The glass-bottom kayaks provide a clear view of the underwater world, allowing one to observe these animals in their natural habitat without getting wet.
This kayak rental is designed for those who are able to navigate on their own, are experienced paddlers, and are in good physical condition. Booking is per solo kayak, with a maximum weight of 200lbs. Double Kayaks (300lbs max) can be booked via our website ONLY. Last minute changes & accommodations can not be made on site and late arrivals and no-shows can not be accommodated and will result in cancellation without refund. This is not suitable for beginners or those who are overweight, have back issues or heart problems.
