Review Summary
People finds this Sami and reindeer day trip from Abisko to be an intimate, culturally rich experience, with reviewers consistently praising the chance to learn about Sami traditions at the Jukkasjärvi open‑air museum and get very close to the reindeer inside the corral.[1][4] Travelers highlight feeding the reindeer, photographing them, and browsing Sami handicrafts as standout moments, and some appreciate the cozy on‑site Café Sápmi for warm drinks and fika even though lunch is not included.[1][9] The main drawbacks mentioned across similar Sami and reindeer tours in the Abisko–Kiruna region are the long transfer time from town to the Sami village and the need to bring or rent proper winter clothing, as this particular tour does not provide thermal gear.[1][2][7]
