At Glengoyne Distillery, near Glasgow, people can become whisky makers for a day. This special experience lets guests blend their own unique Glengoyne Single Malt.
The experience starts with a tour of the Glengoyne Distillery and No.1 Warehouse. Then, in the Sample Room of the Distillery Manager's House, guests get to mix different single cask whiskies. They will create a special blend, bottle it, and take it home. The Malt Master helps balance the flavors from different casks. Guests will taste whiskies from American and European oak casks, some that held sherry or bourbon before. Then, they add a little from each cask to make their own special whisky. This one-of-a-kind whisky is put in a 200ml Glengoyne bottle, with a record of the recipe.
This experience includes a guided tour of the distillery and the chance to make a personal whisky blend. Note that only adults 18 and older can join this experience.
